New Prints – Muskegon Farmers Market Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning

New Prints – Farmers Market Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning – Mary Aten Photography

I’ve matted up a lot of new prints for the Muskegon Farmers Market this week.  It has been a busy week taking pictures, printing with new paper, and matting.

Photo of Ghost Waves

It was fun taking photos last night after sunset with a slow shutter speed.  The result looks like ghost waves.  I’ve printed a sample on metallic paper and they look great.  One of my friends from Canton, Marion Krutty, named these “ghost waves”, so that is what I will call the series.  Stop over and take a look if you are at the market this week!  The print featured in this blog is a cropped sample.

Schedule – Will be at Muskegon Farmers Market 9/5 and Sunday Art Market in Grand Haven 9/6

Muskegon Farmers Market

The Muskegon Farmers Market was a bit slow this week due to the  and weather.  I’ll be there tomorrow, 9/5.  If I can’t get a regular spot, I’ll set up on the Morris Street Pad in the back of the stalls.

Sunday Art Market – Grand Haven

We’ll be at the Grand Haven Sunday Art Market on 9/7.  We’ll have photos of the Grand Haven pier along with many of the other photos that you can see on the Mary Aten Photography home page  – www.atenphoto.com .

My husband, Dennis, will be there with me along with my sister, Karen.  Karen makes picture frames and other home decor from Great Lakes stones, beach glass and drift wood.

Hope to see you on Saturday or Sunday!

Muskegon Farmers Market – Tuesday and Thursday Mornings

Fox photography

I’ll be selling my photography Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the Muskegon Farmers Market through mid-October.

I’ll have matted prints and a canvas print or two at the farmers market.  All prints can be ordered in different sizes of prints and canvas.  I’ll also have note cards that are all printed and cut by hand.  I will usually also have a few of my sister’s picture frames that are made from Great Lakes stones, beach glass, and drift wood.

It has been fun meeting people at the market.

The featured image for this post is a fox that seems to get a lot of attention from the farmer’s market customers.

Thanks to all who have stopped by for looking at my work and for the great feedback!

At Muskegon Farmer’s Market most Tuesdays and Thursday mornings through early September

I will be at the Muskegon Farmer’s Market most Tuesdays and Thursday mornings through early September selling my photos and note cards.

We survived the local art fairs over the last two weekends.  My husband, Dennis, perfected the final touches on the tent.

The Muskegon farmer’s market is more relaxed and more fun.  It felt wonderful to spend the day doing what I love yesterday, making new images!

Hope to see you at the Muskegon Farmer’s Market or contact me at mary@atenphoto.com or 734-718-2311.  I have matted prints, framed prints, and images printed on canvas.
